North Penn School District utilizes Infinite Campus for Attendance:
Through Infinite Campus you can report your child out the day of an absence. If you know your child will be out of school ahead of time, you can preschedule the absence.
In the IC parent portal click on 'More' in the list of options on the left. Then click on Absence Request in the list of options. Follow the prompts to correctly mark your students absent, late or tardy.

Due to recent changes in federal regulations, it is imperative that we receive a phone call, note, or e-mail for each absence. Students with three unexcused absences will be scheduled for an attendance improvement conference with school officials, and students with six unexcused absences will be classified as habitually truant.
NPSD Permissible Reasons For Absence From School:
- Personal illness
- Quarantine of the individual's home
- Death in the immediate family
- Impassable roads
- Educational trip with parent or guardian. This must include a written request and prior pre-approval by the administration
- Religious holiday
- Suspension from school
- Required Court Appearance
- Exceptional urgent reasons - must pertain to the student as determined by the principal or assistant principal
